My much needed Vacation!!

Wendi and I have been best friends since we were 14 yrs. old. We have been though a lot together and always been there for each other.

We decided we needed a break from life for a couple days and why not do it together!

This is where we went...

This is where we stayed... (FIVE STAR, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!)

We ate here....

and we ate here....

and we both spent a lot of money here....

Some beautiful places we saw along the way....

It was actually snowing the day I got there (the 24th) .....

and continued to be cold until the day I left (27th).

We also ate here twice, the Red Rock Cafe....

I'd never been through the Salt Lake Temple so we went through just hours after I got off the plane....

We had so much fun, from start to finish! Wendi, like I do, appreciates great food so needless to say we ate alot! We also stayed up very late watching chick-flicks and reminiscing about old times. We plan to get together like this once a year now, but we'll see if life permits us.

Anyone want a darling puppy???

My dear friend Rachel has to get rid of their puppy, Delilah. They were taking care of her when her brother couldn't. But now she realized it's a lot of work with four busy kids and she works too. They love her and want her to go to a happy home. If you are interested in a darling little puppy for your family please comment and I will give you Rachel's info to contact her. Delilah really is so cute, my kids love her. If I could, I would take her in a second, but my fish just died. I'm thinking if I can't keep my fish alive, a dog might be a tad harder.
Name: Delilah
Breed: Yorkie-maltese
Age: 11 months
Weight: 6 pounds full grown
Color: White with tan undertones
Condition: She is house broken, has been spayed, has had her baby teeth removed, has received all of her vaccinations and boosters and has been extremely well cared for.
Cost: To be negotiated

Mason lost his first tooth!!

(Mason held my camera and took this picture of himself)
On Saturday morning Mason came to me to tattle on one of his brothers for hitting him. While he was talking to me I noticed his loose tooth was gone...."Mason, where's your tooth!" I say. He quickly feels the spot with his finger and notices that his tooth is missing. Screaming now, "Logan, Logan, I lost my tooth, I lost my tooth!" It was so funny. He didn't even know he'd lost it. The bad news was that we never found it though. Luckily, the Tooth Fairy was nice enough to still bring him a dollar. He is so proud to be part of Logan's tooth loss club now.

Our April Fools Day dinner!

Dave had all the April Fools day ideas this year! Remember to thank him for that! He thought it would be fun for the kids if we had a crazy dinner. We made German pancakes with green food coloring and called it "Monster guts" and we added red food coloring to the syrup so we could pour "Dragon blood" all over our "monster guts". The kids were a little concerned at first.
If you look at Noah's face in this picture, you can clearly see the concern on his face. He's our pickiest eater already. He did eventually try it and finally love it. The others eventually said, "Hey this is just German pancakes with red syrup!" They too enjoyed it.
Dave and I are both jokesters and always love a good practical joke! This is always a fun day for us! BTW, I totally freaked my mom and sister out with our OTHER April Fools day joke!! So much fun!!

We're MOVING!!! (April Fools!!)

Wow! This is all so sudden but we are really excited to let everyone know our news! Dave was offered a job as a software securities developer with a company called Iron Mountain in Boston. He has an old co-worker who was a great friend of his that moved out their two years ago for a job. He's been hounding Dave ever since to move out there and take a position with his company. He made Dave an offer we just couldn't refuse. SMUD is great and stable, but he'll never make $300,000 a year there. We are just so excited. We've even found a beautiful older home near his friend Tom that we're going to make an offer on. (pic above) It's amazing all of this is falling into place. Just last week a family came by to view our home (which we thought was off the market) and they made a great offer!!

We will really miss our family and friends here, but oppurtunities like this don't come very often. We have so much in store for us, so much to look forward to! Stay tuned for more details later.
(BTW- April Fools! Gotcha!)
